My b2evolution Version: 4.1.x

I've installed the lightbox plugin. It shows the bigger picture. Closing this the picture appears a second time. So I have to close it 2 times.
This is the code I used in the post:

<p><a title="goldman sachs club" rel="lightbox" href="/blog/media/shared/global/ellorene/goldman-sachs_club.jpg?mtime=1330255157"><img style="float: left; margin: 10px;" src="/blog/media/shared/global/ellorene/goldman-sachs_club-thumb.jpg" alt="" width="79" height="80" /></a>

How can I make it close in one time?

Go to Admin > Blog Settings > Skins > Skin settings

uncheck the "Colorbox Image Zoom:
Check to enable javascript zooming on images (using the colorbox script)" bit.

both scripts use the same class

The unchecking did it. Many thanks! Problem solved.

Actually I recommend to delete the outdated lightbox plugin and use the built-in colorbox library

@sam2kb
You mean by add/link files to my post? I've just found out how to get images uploaded (only shared-folder gives me access).
I have been experimenting a little bit to find out what you meant.

So when I upload an image bigger than the container it is automatically fitted into my post. By clicking it pops up bigger.
I'm new and learning to work with b2evolution.

I just mean that there's no need to install a Lightbox plugin (as you did) because there's already a lightbox-like thing built-in.

- remove the lightbox plugin from General settings > Plugins
- enable back the colorbox on Blog settings > Skins > Skin settings

yeah! .. got it ..
You're right. This is much easier. Thank you!
And .. it's nice to have learned about lightbox and colorbox. This is very meaningful.

Thank you both!!!!

Now I'm getting wiser and this comes up (please bear with me):

If I place a picture just like that (and maybe text is coming above or below) the 2nd method is working well.

If I want to position a picture left and some text on the right within an article (like you can do by editing the image or creating a table with 2 columns) then the lightbox method is handy, because I can put a thumbnail here and click it open to see the full picture.

But I can't have both within the same skin I presume.

hi,

I don't see the colorbox in setting for the Mystique skin. What do you think is the best way forward to get a light box effect going for Mystique?

Thanks

Sorry, I've no idea. I use Terrafirma skin.

Mystique skin already comes with lightbox enabled. If it was not working on your website, there must be an error somewhere.
