Off the top off my head, write "page" type and not post, those wont show up in post loop.

I don't understand what you mean.

However, to clarify, what I want is to be able to have multiple posts on 3 or 4 different pages. NOT one page with multiple posts and then 2 or 3 other pages with only their 'page' content.

so basically you want to duplicate home page ? If so you could simply copy the post loop and put it your_display.php
