The write tab on the admin screen has two entry fields: Link to url URL Title
I get that the latter is to give you a less cryptic url. What is the first one for?
The link url is just that - a link to a url. Have a play at putting various things in and then looking at your blog. You wont break anything major through the backoffice, and you'll see how everything works.
