Actually, don't delete the xmlsrv folder. You also have you xmlrpc file in there which is pretty damned useful if you're wanting to use things that need remote access to your blog. You can delete all the other files, but personally I'd leave that one there. You will also need to delete all the references to the feeds in your _main.php, including those in the <head> of your file.

Because I will be using B2evolution to publish content for a school, it will be used mainly as showcase for parents and students. It doesn't need to be private but it makes no sense to have a RSS feed.
So, is it still the way to kill rss?
Delete the /xmlsvr
