I'm a bit behind the times in updating from b2 to b2evolution. So I thought that I would try and update it. I used Fantastico in cPanel X to install b2evo and I deleted all the evo tables and started to install everything - and then I got the following message.

I'm *new* to MySQL in the sense that I don't know how to do alot of the things in order to fix anything.. so any help would be really appreciated.

I have a feeling its not to do with b2evo - but if someone could help me out all the same I would be really thankful

The error I recieve is the follow:

MySQL error!

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3(Errno=1064)

Your query:
UPDATE evo_posts SET post_wordcount = 0 WHERE ID =

Thanks for anyone's help and enjoy your weekend!

I'll give that a go and see what happens - just downloading the latest version now.

Thanks for your help!

Nope not working... I still get the same message even when I try and manually install it:

When do you get that error ? what exactly are you doing when the error occurs?

while it is trying to upgrade ? (you don't have to delete anything, just run the 'upgrade from a previous version)

I'm upgrading from b2 to b2evolution so on the www.mydomain.net/blogs/install I go to the follow:

Upgrade from Cafelog/b2 v 0.6.x: Install b2evolution database tables and copy your existing Cafelog/b2 data into them

I then get the following:

Installing b2evolution tables and copying existing b2 data
