auto close comments after so much time?

Is there a way to set up an autoclose on your comments on older posts.

I have been getting hacked a bit by comment spammers... but they seem to randomly pick any old post, and therefor hit mainly older posts?

I would like to have posts automatically close comments after 10 days or so... is this possible?

There's not an automatic way to do this, but [url=http://forums.b2evolution.net/viewtopic.php?t=4827&highlight=close+comments]this thread[/url] explains one way to close comments on old posts. Are you keeping your antispam blacklist up to date?
