New post Summary - on a Start Page === How’d they do that??

I came across a great blog with a nice clean “Start Page” The page has a summary of the most recent posts in a scrollable box. Check it out here – > http://projectouthouse.com/

Now the question is — how did they do that? Is it with Feeds? How can I do that??
