I've been looking for a blogging program for a while now, and it seems to me like b2evolution might be what I am looking for.
I want to make a blogging site for students where people that sign up can have their own blogs, preferably with a subdomain (eg. user.site.com), and for them to change their template files. A bit like the site Blogger does. Of course I don't want to manually make a new blog install for each user, this needs to go automatically when they register.
Is it possible to do this with b2evolution? If not, does anyone have any other suggestions?

All of this is possible with b2e and most of it comes standard. Some of the automatic registering/blog creation may require some hacking, but that's all been worked out here in the forums. If you do some searching you'd most likely find how to get everything to work the way you want.
