I upgraded to Phoenix today and have been looking around at it.

The flash graph of the stats summary is way cool, but I noticed the presence of a new category: "blacklisted"

Just what does that mean?

I noticed right away that there were some hits that were classed there. I tried to look around and see what those were and finally queried the mysql database. It turns out that the hits classified as blacklisted were mine. Upon further review, I see that my base domain (gomorris.net) is listed in the evo_basedomains table classified as blacklisted. How did that happen and why?

How did that happen and what does it mean? Is that kind of blacklisting different than the blacklist for spam? I didn't notice any problems reading or posting to my blog, but will that change or is this really nothing to be concerned about.

Your own domain is blacklisted for the stats
not for something else.
Its very usable so your stats are not falsly higher than you have visitors.

your site is absolutely not on the real 'blacklist'

blacklisted is actually a poor name choice that has historical roots.

This should be renamed to 'self_ref' or sth alike in the future (although it's less correct, it's less confusing for the majority).

I was confused too, self ref is much better...
