a very old friend of mine is the author of flashFXP, years ago I hosted a mirror site for him and was even mentioned within the about dialog box. 8|

flashFXP is a combination fxp/ftp program. With it, you can ftp in, pick a file to edit (on the server), edit it, and reupload the edited copy in one or two clicks. If you disconnect for some reason, or the xfer fails, it stores the edited file in a queue for another upload attempt.

It is, hands down, the best ftp software out there, for the price.
