I've got a test install of the Phoenix Alpha running on my website, and I'm pretty happy with it. So far, I actually haven't been able to find any bugs (or at least any that affect me), although I'm going to keep looking.
I'm wanting to go ahead and convert my current b2evolution installation to Phoenix, however... I've heard that there will still be some pretty major code changes from Alpha to Beta and to the final release. When Beta comes out (and subsequent versions), will there be like easy upgrade instructions/patches, etc? Because I'm comfortable with using Phoenix in its current state, but I don't want to have to manually patch a bunch of files when Beta versions start coming out, and I especially don't want to have to manually make database changes...
This might be a dumb question. Not really sure :)
I you don't change the database of core files by hand, there will be an automaticaly upgrade procedure.
There allways is.
