I run b2e on a private network to allow folks here to be able to update information pertinant to their division. Now, I have one group that wants to be able to link to a file on our network. The link would look something like this:

\\blah\blahblah\blah.xxx

Of course, I get an invalid URL message. Is there a hack to allow for linking to local objects. I searched around and couldn't find anything. ANyone have any ideas?

Yeah it is. :(

I guess the best thing to do is to create a virtual directory to it on my web server. Ya?

yes, I was going to suggest something to that effect. Or simply explain that they can upload -- assuming youve given them those permissions.
