I've been searching for this but can't seem to find it... a hack that would show recent posts on the main page (I saw the sidebar one there, and and got it working but it doesn't work elsewhere) and is there a way to also have the Title of the post hyperlinked to itself within the blog...

What I'm trying to do is setup a teaser on my index.htm start page with just those 3 things (title, category, 374 characters of the post or so) that a user could click to take them to where the full post is in my blog (my main page is not going to be a b2evolution generated page). I'm thinking I want it to look similar to the following structure:

[u]Recent Blogs Section:[/u]
Here is the title of my latest post in 'some category'
blah blah blah one single line of teaser here to get them to go to my blogs

Does this 5am sleepless post make any sense? I've been at it all night customizing these b2evo files and I'm probably making it harder that what it is.... the page is at http://www.datingprofiler.com/index.html interested...and if anyone can point me to whatever resources, plugins, or hack I need to get it to display 2 or 3 recent posts from my Blog 1 I got located at http://datingprofiler.com/mofracky/index.php I'll buy you a coke!
