where is entry content actually stored?

hi there.

in which file(s) is the actual text content of the blogs stored? I did a fresh install and deleted the old database before tranfering my entries.

are they gone forever or can i copy them out of somewhere?

theyre stored (or were stored) in that database you deleted.

hopefully you or your host maintains sql backups.
