where can I find the permalink-url in the backoffice

I'm still learning b2evolution. When I enter a URL in the 'Link to URL' section and save, the title reflects the URL I enter but if clicked, I get an error. It's as though the page isn't there. I'm entering http://www.domain.com/2006/08/28/this-is-my-title/

What am I doing wrong?

Using dashes instead of underscores maybe?

Try cutting and pasting the permalink URL, rather than manually typing in a URL. (Would reveal what you might be missing).

Thanks for the reply. Maybe in my ignorance I'm missing a big step....where would I cut and paste it from? I'm creating the link by typing it into the URL window....right?

when you see the post in the backoffice, you'll see in the rightbottomcorner a 'permalink'..
just copy and paste the url it generates...
