How to ban an IP address

Ok, I know this has probably been covered somewhere (and probably multiple times), but I can't find any simple, straight-forward instructions on this forum for how to ban an IP address.

In the last few days my site, which only gets about 20 hits on an average day, has been getting rocked by 62.75.218.82, which has been making upwards of 600 direct accesses per day. I've just been deleting the daily hitlogs, but I'd rather not have to do that. What's the easiest way to block that IP?

As an alternative to blocking from your blog, you could block access to your site altogether if you have access to that via an account control panel or something similar.

My blog and my site are one in the same, but anyway, I don't have any option like that. I'm just looking for how to get b2e to ban an IP. I've heard of it being done, I just haven't been able to find that option in the back office.
