How to not show date for one post or have the dates change

I use a post as my "home page." The problem is that the date is on top and I would have to change it every day. Is there a way to fix this?

You can remove the data by editing /skins/plain/_main.php . Find the line that says something like $MainList->date_if_changed() and delete that line.
