While trying to publish a video using the YouTube plugin and having the TinyMCE plugin also installed, I found that the TinyMCE doesn't allow the YouTube plugin to work as intended.
Normally, pressing the YouTube image of the video that you want to publish, the code is automatically entered into the Text area. With TinyMCE that is not happening to me.
Since I want to have both plugins installed and while the programmers find a solution to this, I'm making it work by:
1) Finding the video as usual.
2) Holding down the resulting video image and placing it in the text area.
3) Editing the text area with the HTML function in TinyMCE.
4) Deleting all code but the
5) Publishing...
Good that you document a workaround, but (again): it will work with b2evo 1.9 and that's why the plugin recommends it. (I know that 1.9 is not available yet)
Just for info.
