I apologize in advance if someone has already asked about this, but I've been searching for a solution for a while now, without finding any solutions at all, so at the risk of sounding like an idiot, here is my question.

I've installed b2evolution v5.0.4-stable on my website: http://defie.info . I've been trying ever since to get rid of the start page that shows up as the default page, and I have no idea how to do it. I've studied the F.A.Q extensively and done numerous searches on the topic, and have either gotten other websites with the exact same start page, or "how to install b2evo" articles. I've even modified the .httaccess to display my actual blog, (http://defie.info/blogs/defie) and it just ended up displaying the very same start page in that URL.

What I am trying to do is get defie.info to display one of my blogs as the default page, not the "start page." Again, sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks.

@defie
When you extract the b2evolution package, only the contents of the /blogs directory need to be uploaded to your site. If you want b2evolution to handle the homepage of your site, upload the contents of the /blogs folder to your website root. Otherwise, it's best to upload the files to a subdirectory of your webserver. You can keep the /blogs subdirectory name, but you can also choose another.

Please don't hesitate and let me know if you need help.

Thank you! Extracting /blogs to the rood directory solved the problem! :)
