@gcasanova I agree, actually I got some problems making Social buttons to work correctly in a quick review. However, the Share this plugin works as expected. Maybe, it only needs to provide more customization options. Also, a plugin for the AddThis service would be nice.

Personally, I think that the best approach is using this kind of services. This way we just take care of the integration and they develop the bussiness logic, APIs, analytics, services support, etc. Sadly, as you know, the dev team is pretty small and they are almost always focussed on security and performance matters. It would be great to get some help from the community for this kind of plugins, just as it was some time ago.

Of course, the devs will read your suggestion and evaluate the best&quick way to include it in the todo list. If you have any other related suggestion, please tell us, we will appreciate it.

I installed the Share This plugin but as you say, lacks customization options, the main one, I would say, is the possibility to make the Share This button more visible...
But then I visited the ShareThis page and they give codes for lots of CMS, but unfortunately not for b2evolution.
I hope devs go to that site and maybe get the code for b2evolution or design a plugin for it... http://www.sharethis.com/
