[6.5] I have set up blog1.com and blog2.com on the backend of blog1. Works as it should. But now I want to set up a second blog to function off the base URL of blog2. I have created a second blog for blog2 - titled 'test' - and created a post in that blog. I have set the absolute URL for the blog 'test' as

http://www.blog2.com/test/

but this throws up a 404 error. What should the URL for blog2/test/ be?

Is your .htaccess file on its place? (http://b2evolution.net/man/htaccess-file)

What should the URL for blog2/test/ be?

It's the URL you set in the Absolute URL field. If: 1) blog1.com and blog2.com point exactly to the same location and 2) the .htaccess file is well configured as explained in the manual page I linked above.

I have the URL issue resolved and the page loads, but now I get a 404 error for the post which should load on the page. If I preview the post, I get a 'sorry, there is nothing to display' error. The post is set to 'public', but when I save the post an error message flashes up too quickly for me to read.
