@zebulon I guess @alexl is talking about the number of words in the slug.
In this post: http://forums.b2evolution.net/5-0-9-slug-truncation, we were talking about that subject. So, you can find the parameter "Limit slug length to" in the SEO configuration of your current collection (http://b2evolution.net/man/single-post-pages-seo).
Regards!

Hello,
Thanks to both of you. You never stop learning and I have found these SEO option and set to 10 words. That should be enough for me. Since I have not used for a while my b2evolution blog, I was of the many options a bit slain :) .

Just a note since I was also looking for where to change this setting..
I have multiple weekly posts that have the exact same title EXCEPT the date (in title) changes and the truncated slug / URL was throwing duplicate db entry errors.. and forcing me to delete or edit differently then previous entries.
Just something to keep a note on for setting the default values.

Mark!
It may be useful!
In some blogs, long url may make sense.
Hi @alexl
Not sure what you mean. Can you give an example?
I guess you are looking for a url with the post titel in it like
http://vbox-1.site/a/first-post
My (test)v.6.1 did this when I applied the .htaccess with mod_rewrite. And of course changed the URL settings for the blog
I have my own server.
Do you host the site or do you also have a server yourself?
Regards
