It's been a bit of an inconvenience in b2evolution, but cleaning it up every few weeks (via the scheduler) was enough. But in 5.0.4, all my database space is used up in less than a day. This is crazy! I have to manually clear evo_sessions a couple times a day to keep it up and running. I'd like to just go back to 4.1.7, but silly me not foreseeing a problem like this deleted the backup once 5.0.4 appeared to be working. The problem with using 4.1.7 (as tested on my own computer) is how paragraphs in posts differ (just a blank space between lines doesn't imply a paragraph break as in 5.0.4). It would be great if I could disable writing to the hits and sessions tables (or even limiting how much is written to them).
