6.11.5 upgraded to 6.11.6 without calling /install/index.php

Very strange ????
I just uploaded 6.11.6 over 6.11.5 using Filezilla and then as usual went to my site to 'install' but my site just opened up as if nothing had happened.

So I went to System > Status and it shows I am using 6.11.6 and directs me to upgrade to 6.11.7 which according to the download page doesn't exist. ??

6.11.5 upgraded to 6.11.6 without calling /install/index.php
6.11.5 upgraded to 6.11.6 without calling /install/index.php

So two queries

  1. How did 6.11.6 get installed without me calling the install script and
  2. Is there a hidden 6.11.7

Is it that the upgrade didn't require any database updates and so the install didn't need calling?

In response to my econd post.

That can't be the only reason as I have noted the last four upgrades, from 6.11.3 have the same database version but on the previuos three occasions I did have to use the /install/ script.
