With the above link forums have same number of 'replies' as 'posts'

with this one they seem to have a proper number of replies relating to posts

???

That's right @amoun, it seems that the replies count is not well calculated in sub-categories. We will look into this.

quick note: IIRC reply counts also only count publicly visible replies (which is ok).
