- Favicon anomaly in 7.1.5 or is it Filezilla

Hi.
After upgrading a site to 7.1.5 from 6.11.4 I wanted to reinstate my favicon.ico so I ftp'd one over with a new name. Then removed the default favicon. In filezilla and on the browser bookmark bar it looks like the default b2evo icon, orange square bubbles on a white background. I dragged the default icon from the local side of filezilla to the desktop and the icon looks like this. Can't attach the file as the extension ico is not accepted.
Then I resent the ico file back and the filezilla icon under a new name and is the same as the anomaly now, so maybe some weird filezilla messup ??
Then I noticed the favicon file image in filezilla had reverted to the b2evo one so I dragged it to the desktop and it was my prefferd icon. In the image below you can see on the left the actual icon and on the right the view in filezilla
So it looks like whatever the actual icon looks like filezilla shows it as a b2evo one.
By the way I clear the browser cache at everey browser instigation and did so twice here..

Yeap! I do the same if I have a problem and have the same settings as you.
However I only do the change name when I have a prob especially as I upgrade by sending all files by filezilla and my broadband speed out in the sticks is arpunf 500K if I'm lucky.
However that doen't seem to be the problem, it's a) what the hell is that weird icon that was the favicon and why is filezilla showing the b2evo one even when it really has changed. Maybe some kind of cache in filezillla that can't be cleared so it notes file types by a certain iocn and then is stuck with it.
Still what is that weird icon? Is it a wordpress thing?

Only other thing....... Clean your Browser cache? otherwise Im stymied.
I noticed that sometimes Filezilla does NOT upload your files like it says it does. This is extremely frustrating when your changing bits of code. Yeah, Filezilla will say it uploaded and it lies to you.
So this is what I do...............
Open filezilla and log on.
Find the file on server and either
A. Delete the file.
or
B. Change the file name (faveicon.ico to faveicon.ico2).
Upload new file or picture.
