SOLVED -- turned out to be database corruption. Hostmonster provides a database "check" and database "repair". I ran these, found problems in two tables relating to sessions, ran the repair tool (which reported that none of the tables support "repair"), re-ran the "check" tool, tables now checked out as ok.

Blog now runs.

Not sure what version I have because system won't run ... it's not the most current one (license.txt is dated 8/1/13, which is probably when I last updated).

System was working fine yesterday when I wrote a fairly long post. Today there is an error as noted in re and all that will display is:

An unexpected error has occurred!

If this error persists, please report it to the administrator.

I have no idea how to troubleshoot this problem. I don't explicitly see any of the program files that seems to have been hacked (based on file date).

Any assistance as to how to proceed would be appreciated. I have a lot of blog entries that will be lost.
