@saunders the error you get is actually normal.

b2evolution doesn't allow some tags from visitors (not logged in users) because of spam and security.

What we did to avoid the inconvenient error message was to do not display in the editor those tags that the current user is not allowed to use, so in the next release you will find that visitors don't see buttons to include <a>, <img> and <pre> tags anymore.
