I just ran into another issue converting my old site into a b2evolution site. My old site had many separate HTML (old html type from the 1990's) pages. It would take me a very long time to retype all those pages and make them into blog posts. So tonight I tried to copy and paste the HTML of some of the pages into standard blog posts and it tossed a huge amount of errors at me saying I could not use HTML in my post.
Is there a way to do this? I mean copy and pasting HTML pages into a blog post?
Thank You
Have a great day
Jim
@nemo656 maybe if you share some of those errors we can get a better idea about the problem. In the meantime, make sure that the current post type (post, page, etc.) you're using is set to Allow HTML content (http://b2evolution.net/man/item-type-features).
Another option that sometimes causes some troubles is the XHTML validation, so you can change its settings for your current user group (Administrators, Moderators, etc.) to Basic Security Checking (http://b2evolution.net/man/group-properties-blogging).
On the same view, preventing iframes, javascript and objects are security checks that may also block the saving contents action if those kind of elements are detected.
