@fplanque thanks; Downloading actual GEOIP data solved the problem (although there is no firewall that could have prevented automatic downloading.) But now, I learned to check the plugin in case this happens again. Thanks.
Go check the GeoIP plugin and download the latest DB.
I suspect you have a firewall that prevents automatic downloading.
