Since updating to 6.8.7-stable we are seeing multiple slugs generated when there is a comma, colon, semi-colon, etc in the post title.. this is unexpected and generates many confusing slugs (many post titles I have use the same beginning words, for example)

Anyone have any insight into stopping this from happening other than editing the punctuation out of the titles?
