The version of your site is defined in the file conf/_application.php and that file must be replaced each time you make an update/upgrade, so if it's still the same of your old version, something clearly went wrong in the process.

Please mention which one of the three options listed here: http://b2evolution.net/man/upgrading did you follow in order to update your site.

The ONLY method of upgrading I ever do is the manual backup/delete/upload --- use install script

The standard upgrade procedure, which will work in all situations. It consists of backuping, replacing your files with the newer ones and re-running the installer which will analyze precisely what needs to be done.

I just checked and I have no clue what happened...but I know I did delete all files out of the skins except the skin I use and config folders --- leaving only the basic_config in the config folder and media folders. BUT seems those are all still the former version.

Will go upload them latest files and come let you know what happens...ty

Doing the dance here. It worked I am now up to par with the upgrades.
