amoun, thanks for reaching out. I just discovered that the "display" attribute for the button was set to none. When I changed it to block and/or inline it displayed as I wished. You actually gave me the clue to use Chrome dev tools and that got me to the solution. It also points out that I need to get more comfortable with the dev tools. Thanks again. You are terrific help!
Yes the dev tool is with a little use is great in finding where an object lies and it's associated css properties.

Have you and could you show the source code for the widget, i.e. via Firefox >Developer or the like?
