I would like to have this front page say who the post is. The two posts are made by two different posters. You can see that if you follow the permalink. How do I make the main page display this?

Is there any way to get rid of those horizontal bars at the top?

Are the permalinks really permanent? Will they stay on my site for as long as I want?
