My b2evolution Version: 1.9.x
I chose my new Host Because of the B2e being available with them. I have used the Blogger Interface for B2e in another arena for over a year and want to add this to my website.
I have loaded on my Database, and played with some of the ADMIN features and basically understand most of what I am doing...
I am reading the Manual at
http://manual.b2evolution.net/Install_b2evolution and I'm not sure where I need to start since my host automatically created the Database?
As a clueless Blond don't understand HOW to make the B2e Blogs actually show up on my website... :oops: I am sure this is EASY but, I often fail to understand the things that are most obvious.

Since you take the trouble of providing such personal details as the colour of your hair, I will try to get you on your way.
If you have a backup of your previous B2e blog you'd better install the previous version and upgrade later.
You should find out what ithe B2e version is of your backup
Now download the appropriate version of B2e from this site and upload the 'blogs' folder to your site.
Now go to your browser and type http://www.yourhost/blogs/install/install.php
Install B2e. If there is an old database provided by your host available, then you do an upgrade. Otherwise do a new install.
Next go to cpanel or phpAdmin and replace the database with your backup
Your site should work now. You can upgrade to the latest version.
