[1.9.x] Admin path wrong?

My b2evolution Version: 1.9.x

When I'm in the baskoffice admin section and I click on a link to an action, such as in the "file management" section, the link takes me to "http://admin/?ctrl= ..." instead of http://www.mydomainname.com/admin/?ctrl=....";. In other words the admin path is wrong. How and where do I correct this? The B2evo program is loaded in the root directory, not in a subdirectory like'blogs', for example. The blogs themselves seem to be functioning properly. Thanks for your help.

I have had this happen a few times.

When it happened to me it was because there was an extra / in the path name so instead of being / it was // have a look after the domain name and see if there is a // there, if there is remove 1 from the address bar and try again.

If it works ok you need to remove a / from the default address in one of the files somewhere.

Sorry I am not an expert at this and one of the superb team will tell you where to look to find that setting.

If that is the problem then the file you need to change is conf/_basic_config.php.

Just look for a line that has $baseurl = 'http://mydomain.com/'; and check that it doesn't end with .com//.
