My b2evolution Version: 1.9.x

Hi,
my problem: A subscription to the postings and comments of any blog does (apparently) result in nothing.

though I read thru the different threads touching email notification problems, none of the proposed solutions seems to work in my case.

Mail adresses set in _basic_conf.php and _advanced.php are valid.
Verification emails work, so do notifications for comments on a user's own postings and comments.

I have a somewhat similar situation like the one described by skawdiver[url=http://forums.b2evolution.net/viewtopic.php?t=11316]here[/url]: I created several blogs, deleted some, created new ones, but I'm not able to clean up the system, because the blogs are already filled with content.

runing b2evo 1.9.2 on unix
