[1.9.x] What is the latest on highlighting of search terms?

My b2evolution Version: 1.9.x

I know this has been asked many times... but I don't find a current hack or plugin on it. Is there anything current which will enable the highlighting of search terms in the results?

There was an older hack, which was claimed to have worked... and I plan to try in on 1.9.2, just as a lark (if nothing else emerges)... but I'm guessing something from 2003 will have some problems.

Wow, that sounds encouraging... updated the search highlighter he says.... Sounds like it exists and just needed some updating. Maybe it happened.

So, has there been anything new on highlighting of search terms? I'm sure hoping.

Very impressive ¥åßßå. It works wonderfully.

Incidentally, I did find that when I was testing and I made a change in that amsearch.css, that I needed also to clear my browser cache to see any differences (if anyone else tries making changes and thinks it's not working, like I did at first).
