My b2evolution Version: 1.9.3
Unfortunately my server works only on safe mode, and I was wondering if, but using another server just for blogging by e-mail, it would work. I would like this feature but don't feel it necessitates switching my host and domain just to activate the feature.
I have a second host that doesn't run on safe mode.
Would it be possible to re-define the base url, just for the getmail.php script and then have the script run on the second server? Would it be treated as xss?

It's not the easiest post to read, but you'll find a solution in the end. Bsically you want to set up the blog in the second (not protected) host and a .htaccess file in the first host that calls the blog. This way you have two identical blogs and because they are on the other server you have all the possibities that host allows you.
