My b2evolution Version: 1.9.x

I just installed a copy of 1.9.3 and was looking through the database prior to doing any customizations. I noticed in main database view, all the tables are listed as "latin1_swedish_ci" in the Collation column.

Is that what it's supposed to read? Is that something that's independent of locale? Just want to make sure I didn't miss something pertaining to locale during installation before I start to customize...
