We already have the version (1.9.3) installed. I would be very thankful, please let me know what should I do now.

OK, let's take it from here. You upgraded from version 0.9.x to 1.9.3 and from that point you were unable to login.
Can you describe the error from the login screen?
I want you to check the file ../blog/config/_main_config.php on line 89 where it reads:
$baseurl = 'http://localhost/b2evolution/blogs/';
check if it sais there:
http://www.kvcindia.com/blog/
.
Please report back at this post and I (we) will help you further.
Good luck

um... it's blog/conf/_basic_config.php but yeah it's gotta be the real base url value.

1) This www in the URL may make the difference, but if you say it works without, I guess you're right.
2) I tried to register to your site (for test purposes only) and this corresponds with your post: nothing happens.
I am breaking my head trying to figure out what goes wrong.
Next: upload all files (and especially the files in the ../blog/htsrv/ map) from a fresh download to the server. Make a backup first, you want to keep the file ../blog/conf/_basic_conf.php and any folder in the ../blog/skins/ directory where you made changes.
Please be so kind and remove the trailing dot from the link URL in your first post.
Good luck

That seems to be a strange error. I don't think this is a cookie issue..
Please try upgrading to b2evo version 1.10.x (x=latest). This issue might be fixed there.

Dear Afwas, I have already tried updating all files with fresh download.
I think updating to next version will be a good solution. May I know, how can I update my version to 1.10.x
10 afwas Jul 23, 2007 08:08
You can download the stable release 1.10.2. In the package you find the /doc/ folder with html files called upgradefrom_b2.xx-XX.html containing instructions.
In this page you can read more about the 1.10.2 version "Florida".
Hope it works.

I have updated my b2e version to florida, but the problem is still same...
Please help, I don't want to loose my database and credits on internet

Okay let's back up and get a fresh start on this. First: what happened a few months ago when you first became unable to update your blog? Did you change hosts or plans, or did your host upgrade something?
Do you know if your database is intact? Do you have a backup of your database from back when you were able to use it? Do you have access to your database via something like phpmyadmin, and can you tell if all your stuff is in there? If so can you browse the evo_settings table and report back what your "db_version" is?
We know that a fresh copy of 1.10.2 won't let you log in - correct? When you ran the installer (your_domain.com/path_if_any/install/index.php) and selected 'upgrade' did it say it was successful? Oh and do you have a backup of the files from when they worked AND when they were for 1.9.3?
Since your baseurl has the www in it are you using that when you try to login?
blueyed says it doesn't seem like a cookie issue, but have you checked out your cookies to see if you have any from your own domain and have you cleared them then tried to login again?

I just upgraded my b2e version using frantistico.
Yes, my database is intect but don't have backup the database structure when we was able to use b2e login. We have backup of database using phpmyadmin and mysqldump of version 1.9.3. db_version is 9350 at evo_setting table.
Yes it said successful, when I updated it to florida version and again I have the backup of files.
Yes I am using www, when try to login.
I checked the issue with coockie, but it didn't worked.

Okay this is good. Well, it's not because you can't use your blog, but we'll get there eventually. I hope...
The db_version of your database is for 1.10.2 so we know it told you the truth when it told you it upgraded successfully. That's good. We have good cause to believe it's not your computer, but that little detail can be tested. Do you have another computer you can try from? Or another browser on your computer you can use to login? Another computer would be best, and for sure we'll know which side of the attempt to login your problem is on.
BTW Fantastico is leaving a bad taste in my mouth anymore. Seems like this time around it is doing a poor job of upgrading b2evolution installations. The commonest problem is that it puts an extra / at the end of your $baseurl, but we know you don't have that problem. So anyway I think when you login from another computer you'll have the same problem.
Hey I got an idea if you're feeling brave. How about you PM me with your login name and password, and the URL of your blog? Maybe I can poke around and figure something out. Maybe not, but maybe.
Did you run ../blogs/install/install.php after uploading?
These are the staps you want to take:
1) make a backup from your files and from your database
2) download version 1.10 from this site
3) upload all files to your server
4) run install.php
5) tweak the new installation.
Regarding 1) to make a backup from the database, you should enter cPanel or phpMyAdmin. One of them or both are provided by your host. From there you can manipulate your database. Use Google for specific details for the admin tool.
Regarding 5) The skins you were using cannot be used in 1.10. This might explain some of the irratic behaviour. Try the 'custom' skin from the newly uploaded series of skins.
You find more on this topic in the manual.
Good luck
