I apologize in advance if a similar question has been asked before - I've searched but can't find anything.

I'm trying to post in Greek (iso-8859-7) in my newly installed blog but the greek characters are treated as entities and each character is transformed to a series of characters preceded by an ambersand and followed by a semi-colon.

The database is in the correct charset and collation. I looked over the blog files a bit and changed the values of $evo_charset to 'iso-8859-7' but it didn't change the problem. I do not want to use utf-8 in order to be able to integrate some content in my website (which is iso-8859-7) without much fuss.

Is it possible to post in iso-8859-7? What am I doing wrong?
