comment error brought down my site

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Hey all,

I set up my comments to with the Turin test, to make it easy for people to comment. I left the site alone for the weekend and now I come back and the whole skin/site is non-functional and I get this message:


An unexpected error has occured!

If this error persits, please report it to the administrator.

Did someone put up some malicious code? How can I fix this? Can anyone help me?

First thing I would do is assign a different default skin for that blog... that will accomplish two things... it'll tell you if it's something specific to the skin or to the blog itself, and if specific to the skin, replacing it with a different skin will at least get your blog back up and running while you can hunt down the problem...

thanks JJ. I put up a back up of the skin and everything was right as rain. I still don't understand what exactly caused it but having a back up of the skin saved my hide!!

Yea these crazy hours can go nuts unchecked. I always get my second wind when the clock strikes midnight ;)
