Upgrade 2.1 to 2.2 -

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I'd like to upgrade 2.1 to 2.2 on a test site I have running. I thought that upgrades for ver 2.x were supposed to be easier than reloading everything. I downloaded the files for 2.2, but the install instructions all seem the same as with 1.x upgrades.

Am I missing something or is there an easier way to do an upgrade than reloading everything?

I just did a 1.10.2 to 2.2.0 upgrade on a staging site this morning. All you have to do is upload the entire /blogs/ directory to the site after deleting the existing files (don't delete the database) and then run the /install/ script. Should take less than 5 minutes.

yeah, that's the old way - just wondering whether things had been streamlined with 2.x upgrades. I know the old way wasn't too hard, but just didn't know if moving everything was still necessary....
