Hi,
Yes.
In fact, I just tried on simple mode and even smileys don't work.
Thanks for welcoming!

What version are you using. I cannot reproduce your error in my setup.

What browser, and is javascript enabled? Probably this is not important if "you as admin" can get stuff to work, but it's better to hit all the bases up front.

I use Firefox, javascript enabled. Tested with IE, did'nt work also.
I didn't precise I'm currently only at testing phase, so everything is done in my own computer (admin and user).

Hi mel_t,
Can you try the same in the [url=http://demo.b2evolution.net/]demoblog[/url]. Choose 2.3 in the left bar, hit 'Submit' and go to the testblog.

Hi
It works. One difference :
In textarea, I see the <p> instead of "path" line on bottom. But I think it's related to TinyMCE.

mel_t, have you tested it with a non-admin user on the demo (and installed tinymce)?
This sounds like some javascript/html error.
What do you mean with "Users can't format any articles (em, str...)."?
Is the problem only there, if tinymce is installed?
Which version of tinymce are you using?

I was to edit my post. If I deactivate TinyMCE, the normal behavior of button (em, str, smiley) re-appear for users.
BBcode works fine also, I just download the plugin. So there is possibility to add an easy, accessible toolbar with BBcode instead of tinymce?
TinyMCE : 0.6

Edit
I dont know if it could help to find to problem but I did a fresh install of blog 2.3 RC1 and TinyMCE. I keep all original settings except for creating a user who can publish post. It still react the same way. For admin, tinymce is showed up and works. For bloggers, it didn't appear and all quicktag, code, smiley toolbar are not working.
Anyway, I'm looking for something else because as I wrote [url=http://forums.b2evolution.net/viewtopic.php?t=13706]here[/url], adding file is quite difficult. It's even more with TinyMCE as you can't see HTML code.
Mel
hi mel_t,
Welcome to the forum.
Do your bloggers use the 'expert mode' when they write a post?
Good luck
