My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

We're on 1.8.6 and I know I should update but our primary skin is waaaay customized. Anyhoo, my partner can view and use the QuickTags and YouTube plugins but they've vanished for me. And "yes" I'm in the Expert panel. I'm on a Mac and he's on a PC. Other than that I can't fathom what might be going on. Anyone have any thoughts?
