My b2evolution Version: 2.3.0cr1
I want to back up my b2evo blog. I've used cPanel's File Manager to backup my blog directory. Now I want to backup the database.
Using phpMyAdmin 2.11.0 to look at MySQL server version 5.0.45-community, client 4.1.22-standard, I see these tables in my b2evo database:
awv_antispam
awv_basedomains
awv_bloggroups
awv_blogs
awv_blogusers
awv_categories
awv_coll_settings
awv_comments
awv_cron (2)
awv_files
awv_filetypes
awv_global (1)
awv_groups
awv_hitlog
awv_items (6)
awv_links
awv_locales
awv_pluginevents
awv_plugins
awv_pluginsettings
awv_pluginusersettings
awv_postcats
awv_sessions
awv_settings
awv_skins (2)
awv_subscriptions
awv_useragents
awv_users
awv_usersettings
awv_widget
I see the comments, but I don't see the posts.
Note: I also have a WordPress blog that uses [delete]the same database[/delete] [insert]a database on the same server[/insert]. It's files are:
wp_comments
wp_links
wp_options
wp_postmeta
wp_posts
wp_terms
wp_term_relationships
wp_term_taxonomy
wp_usermeta
wp_users
The WordPress blog's posts are in the wp_posts file. (The b2evo posts are not in the wp_post file. I know they shouldn't be, but I thought you might ask.)
When you look at my b2evo blog, (pannebaker.com/awanavan), its posts show up. Where are they in the database?
Hi Barry
The posts are under items. Actually items_item.
But if you simply want to make a backup you don't bother: select the complete database, WP included, and hit the export button.
Good luck
