my users can post simple messages, but cannot create folders nor upload images, although i give them permissions to do so under user/group permissions.
I'm pretty sure you need to make sure your media/ and media/blogs/ and media/users/ are CHMODed to 777 but also there is a permissions for "allow upload" which I don't know the location of but apparently you've already found that?
