No, however if you use the bundled install script and select Upgrade, any table additions or alterations to the database are performed by the installer.

Thanks for your answer.

I'm just concerned to loose any info.
My idea to do this is to back up my SQL database (so I can always roll that back)
Then work the set-up from the 2bevolution directory (rather then deleting my current blog directory).

If it's all up & running, I'll delete the old version and rename the 2bevolution to my current (1.10.2) directory name.

Should be OK
Back up the database, backup your files, upload the latest version and then let the installer/upgrader do it's magic.

Make sure you edit the conf/_basic_config.php file with your configuration information first.
