I don't know if anybody has seen this one yet, but Xiang Wei Zhuo has made a very good imagemanager.
I have integrated it in b2evo, but there is still a lot to do on it.

I hope anyone can test this out. It only needs the upload variables from the config files. So it's a new way of uploading images.

So, please give it a try, and let me know :-)

Just unpack the archive to your admin folder, and it should work ;)

That's really good!

Problems: OK button and Cancel Button don't work in Firefox, Window not sized properly in Mozillla. (that may be problems with my setup tho).

Error: "Tag img may not have attribute style"

Images don't show up as thumbnails as I think is intended

Important Enhancement: When you upload an image you would probably also want that then to be selected by default (I wouldn't want to have to wade through several hundred pictures looking for the one I just uploaded).

Not so important enhancement: It would also be nice if there were a radio option for it to return html code for a pop-up window as an alternative rather than just an inline picture.

Otherwise I think this is excellent. :D :D :D

Is there going to be any further development on this, or should I try hacking it myself? (bear in mind that I'm not a php guru, so any hacks I do won't be pretty!).

AFAIK, something bigger and better is coming in 9.1 (go get the cvs release, there's a file manager in there, but it's not working yet...).

r0nh, I made the same plugin (is your a plugin ?) for WordPress (just moved from WordPress). You'll find it here: http://wordpress.org/support/10/9552

My implementation replaces the img quick tag and it includes a config tool.

If you are interested, feel free to grab the code.
